Hédy review: our verdict
You must ring the bell on the eighth floor to find Hédy, and that is the whole point: the house presents itself as "a table above Casablanca," open for lunch and dinner alike. Up there, a rooftop with carefully curated decor, plates set with attention, and original, well-balanced house cocktails invite you to linger before heading to your table.
The most consistent asset is the service: a present, attentive team that knows its tables. You come here for a dinner for two, a birthday celebration with friends, or a quiet business lunch in the Gauthier district, at the corner of Jean Jaurès and Moussa Bnou Noussair streets. This is not an address for a late-night party, as evening service ends at 11 p.m., nor is it for a quick bite on the go. And while the kitchen, which convinces most tables, has not yet achieved the consistency of the setting.
The good tip: book online, the link is on their Instagram account, rather than showing up spontaneously. The best time slot: dinner, from 7 p.m., when the city lights up under the rooftop. The glass to order: a house cocktail, before the first dish.
