L'Abri review: our verdict
The name promises a refuge, and the house delivers: a terrace doubled by a winter garden, where you can settle in to relax in an elegant and cosy setting. Behind the bar, signature cocktails are crafted with balance, each with its own identity. At the end of the meal, the berry soufflé or the trompe-l'œil tiramisu remind you that the kitchen knows how to shine too.
The atmosphere is laid-back, conversations are held without raising voices, and the service knows how to advise rather than recite the menu. Well-suited for a chatty tête-à-tête, a small group of friends, or, during Ramadan, a generous and well-orchestrated ftour. Not for those expecting consistent cuisine from start to finish: by the end of 2025, the chapon and the vol-au-vent au homard lacked precision.
Dish to order: a dessert, berry soufflé or trompe-l'œil tiramisu. Best time to visit: Ramadan, for the ftour, one of the moments when the house shows itself at its best. Dinner is served only in the evening, until 23:30, and never on Sundays.
