NÉO Deli review: our verdict
Not many items on NÉO Deli's menu, but none too many: the house has chosen precision over abundance. Sandwiches, grilled items, healthy options, fresh products executed cleanly, and above all desserts that give a reason to linger, starting with the San Sebastian, then a pistachio cheesecake.
The service is the real strong point: fast, smiling, attentive from the first glass of water to the bill. The setting, calm and neat, on Boulevard Anfa, suits lunch between colleagues from Maarif, a relaxed solo meal, or a sweet snack. A large, indecisive table will be cramped here: here, you choose quickly because the menu holds only a few dishes, and those who like to have thirty options before their eyes will be frustrated.
The dish to order: a sandwich, then the San Sebastian. The trap: the matcha, clearly in the background compared to the rest. The good slot: the afternoon, between two services that aren't really services, since NÉO Deli doesn't close from 12 pm to midnight: ideal for a quiet dessert.
