Le Favela review: our verdict
Le Favela is judged by the hour you arrive. In the early evening, the small Maarif room is a well-decorated Latin haunt where homemade spicy margaritas and other cocktails make up the main show; later, the music rises, the room fills up, and the atmosphere becomes truly wild. On the plate, tacos and wood-fired meats, a cuisine that varies from night to night.
The manager welcomes you gladly, the team has a relaxed spirit, and the clientele mixes, making it perfect for launching a night out with friends, or even a family dinner on calmer evenings. Not for a leisurely meal where you linger at the table: when it's full, it's cramped and the pace quickens.
The glass to order: the house spicy margarita. The best slot: opening at 7 pm, to enjoy the kitchen and bar before the rush. Closed on Sundays.
