Milk & Honey review: our verdict
A waiter in front of a café sets the tone for ambition: Milk & Honey takes care of the presentation, with a cosy and modern interior, a terrace, and well-chosen background music. The unsweetened fruit juices and desserts hold their own. But it is during Ramadan that the house truly shines, offering a very generous iftar served without a hitch.
The staff, attentive to its regulars, make it a go-to spot to catch up with friends or spend time with family, thanks to the wifi and air conditioning that encourage lingering. However, the welcome remains uneven depending on which waiter you encounter. We would avoid counting on it for a hearty brunch or a proper Moroccan breakfast: measured portions, timid flavors, and a msemen that has already disappointed.
The best slot: the iftar during Ramadan, the venue's highlight. The pitfall: the Moroccan breakfast, too meagre for its price. Open every day from 10 am to 11 pm, rue Ibnou Yaala El Ifrani.
