Le Bureau review: our verdict
An Oriental singer, a small orchestra, and a lively room: at Le Bureau, live music is often part of the evening program, giving the place its character. The rest follows, with well-presented and generous dishes, and cocktails served prettily.
Service is quick and organized, and you can feel the attentive hand of a manager at every detail; the atmosphere remains tranquil, reassuring those who go out in the evening. The address, a three-minute walk from the Ramada, caters to passing travelers from noon until 2 a.m. For a dinner with friends that extends into music. Less for nights of great crowds: a packed Saturday, the kitchen seemed less consistent than on a Thursday.
The glass to order: a cocktail, while waiting for the orchestra to settle in. The best time slot: Thursday rather than Saturday, when the room breathes and the kitchen seemed more consistent.
