Orchid Spa review: our verdict
The hammam at Orchid Spa is private: there is no communal room or neighbors to worry about, allowing you to relax alone under the care of a practitioner. The Royal Hammam treatment includes soap, exfoliation, henna, and a ghassoul mask, followed by a massage, and the spa concludes with complimentary tea and a hair treatment. The products used are of good quality.
This is a 100% women's institute designed for a half-day of pampering with friends or your mother-in-law, offering a wide menu including a one-hour massage, pedicure, and hair treatments. The owner speaks French and visits each client personally. This is not a traditional shared steam hammam, nor is it a destination for men or couples; the setting is simple, with beige lounges and embroidered cushions, creating a cozy atmosphere rather than a theatrical experience.
The treatment to book is the Royal Hammam at 300 DH (price updated for 2026), which includes the hair treatment. The best tip is to book online via the institute's website, as individual hammams require advance reservation. Note that Orchid Spa is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 8 pm and is closed on Mondays.
