Yakuza Sushi & More review: our verdict
The name promises "Sushi & More," but it is really the fresh fish that keeps Yakuza thriving. Located at the Mall du Carrousel, the establishment serves fresh pieces prepared with care and presented with a true eye for detail by a sushi chef who has a loyal following.
People come here for a plate of sushi between races or for a simple dinner for two, without aiming for the full Japanese dining experience; its hours, from 9 a.m. to midnight, make it convenient. The "More" of the establishment convinces much less: the noodles, made with spaghetti, lack flavor cruelly. Rushed diners may also grow impatient, as on a busy evening, it can sometimes take a quarter of an hour before being served.
The dish to order: a plate of sushi, the core business of the house. The trap: the noodles, which should be left aside. The good tip: come outside of meal hours to avoid the wait.
