Buddha-Bar Rabat review: our verdict
The first drink sets the tone at Buddha-Bar Rabat. The mocktails are crafted with the same seriousness as the cocktails, beautiful to look at and perfectly balanced on the palate, enough to spoil those who do not drink alcohol. At the restaurant, the cuisine looks towards Asia, and the sushi stands out for the freshness of the fish, in a dimly lit decor faithful to the brand's codes.
The evening unfolds in two stages, lounge then table, with attentive floor captains and a very present reception team. For a birthday, a tête-à-tête that needs to make an impression, or a festive dinner at Hay Riad. Not for a rushed meal or a Sunday evening: the house is closed on that day and opens from 7 p.m. the rest of the week.
The drink to order: a signature mocktail, the real surprise on the menu. The dish to order: the sushi, for the freshness of the fish. The pitfall: arriving with just a WhatsApp confirmation, a table has already been refused at the entrance; confirm the reservation in black and white and be on time.
