Hammam Marassa review: our verdict
No spa design or ambient music: Marassa is a traditional Moroccan hammam in the Ocean district, where visitors come for the steam and the expertise of the kessalas. The formula that almost everyone chooses is the complete package, which combines exfoliation, shampooing, and an argan oil massage.
The premises are clean, the team is welcoming and professional, and you leave relaxed for the evening. It's a good entry point for a first hammam, whether you're passing through Rabat or living there. Those expecting the luxury of a hotel spa will be disappointed: the room is small, a bit old-fashioned, and when it's full, finding an available spot and a free kessala becomes complicated.
The good deal: the 500 DH package (checked between May and August 2026), which includes exfoliation, shampooing, and massage. The trap: arriving at peak hours, when the limited space forces you to wait. The best slot: early, as the door opens at 6 a.m. every day.
