Rosi Rooftop review: our verdict
At Rosi, everything is set to sunset. The rooftop opens at 5 pm atop the Villa Manaos on the corniche, and the ocean provides the show while the first cocktails arrive, with a Martini at the top of the menu.
We share plates designed for the terrace: prawn croquettes to start, followed by a pavlova to finish. From 6 pm every evening, the turntables switch to house French Touch, and the aperitif seamlessly transforms into dinner without us noticing. For a drink with friends at sunset, or the first stop of a night on the corniche. Not for a quiet dinner: the music is part of the place, from the first drink at 2 am.
The trap: arriving without a reservation at the moment the sun touches the water, when the tables facing the ocean are the first to go. The right slot: 5 pm, at opening, to choose your spot before the sky ignites.
