The Bloom Room review: our verdict
You enter as a florist's customer and leave with a matcha: The Bloom Room has installed its café right in the middle of the flowers, and that is where you sit. Behind the counter is Laura, originally from the Netherlands, who started in May 2020, right in the middle of the lockdown, delivering bouquets around Marrakech. At the counter, you'll find specialty coffees, loose-leaf teas, matcha, juices, and lemonades, alongside tarts, cookies, and cakes baked fresh every day by the team.
The place is calm and photogenic, quiet enough to open a laptop and pretty enough to pull out your phone, with a smiling welcome. It's the perfect spot for a break between errands in Guéliz, a meeting with friends, or a quiet hour of work. It is not a place for lunch: the menu is limited to drinks and homemade sweets.
The must-order: a daily pastry, paired with a matcha. The insider tip: leave with a bouquet, in small, medium, or large format, or let the florist compose one according to your budget; the shop delivers throughout Marrakech and also sells scented candles, vases, and pots. The trap: go on a Sunday, as the house is closed; from Monday to Saturday, it is open from 9 am to 9 pm.
