Zayna Cafe review: our verdict
A cat reigning supreme, a carefully curated decor, and a room where conversations are kept to a whisper: Zayna Cafe has the charm of those little cafés you keep to yourself. The homemade cuisine takes several directions, from bagels to tajines, featuring a fresh and light brunch and cinnamon rolls that alone justify a visit to Rue Jabli. Everything exudes a homemade feel, right down to the drinks.
The team is attentive without being overbearing, and service follows the room’s tranquil pace. It is the perfect spot for working in peace, sharing a family brunch, or treating yourself to a sweet afternoon break. It is less suited for a noisy group, which would disrupt the atmosphere, and frankly not recommended for those allergic to cats.
The dish to order: the fresh and light brunch, finished with a cinnamon roll for dessert. The insider tip: don’t stop at coffee; the savory menu, including tajine, deserves a proper lunch.
