Ambre Bar review: our verdict
A verdant setting with a terrace facing the garden and the feeling of being far from the city without leaving it: Ambre Bar takes advantage of the Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses park, and it is this atmosphere that provides most of its charm. Here you can enjoy cocktails accompanied by tapas, throughout an afternoon or evening, sometimes to the sound of two musicians.
The service has the manners of a great hotel: attentive, considerate, never pushy. It is a place for a tête-à-tête, a drink between friends who want to talk, or a quiet end to the day after visiting Rabat, and the elegant decor also lends itself to romantic dates. Those seeking a party and a dance floor will be disappointed: here, the music accompanies conversation, it does not cover it.
The glass to order: a cocktail from the menu, with a few tapas to share. The best time: in the evening, when live music accompanies the terrace.
