So Lounge review: our verdict
You step inside when many places are closing: So Lounge opens at 8 p.m. and stays open until 4 a.m., located within the Sofitel Rabat Jardin des Roses complex in Souissi. With dim lighting, elegant decor, a DJ who raises the energy without overwhelming the room, and a Franco-Mediterranean menu that goes far beyond mere snacking, the atmosphere is set for an evening out.
This is a spot for a dressed-up night: a birthday celebration, a dinner that transitions into dancing, or a group of friends looking to dance in a comfortable setting. The service is polished, security staff filter the entrance, and floor staff keep a close watch on the tables. It is not designed for an impromptu last drink in sportswear, nor for a low-budget outing at a hotel of this caliber.
The drink to order is a cocktail, the other major strength of the house alongside the dishes. The catch: come on a Monday, the only night it is closed.
