Sofitel Jardin des Roses review: our verdict
The white tower of the Sofitel overlooks less than what it commands: a palm-lined park, a large pool with curved edges, and white cabanas where one can bask in the sun. Inside, the rooms feature contemporary design, raised moucharabieh panels, and marble bathrooms, alongside a spa with a covered pool under a glass roof and a zellige-tiled hammam.
People come here for business trips, family weekends, or as Rabati guests for a brunch at the Golden Fish, the poolside fish restaurant, or a meal at El Patio. Service is the house's true strength, attentive even to the youngest guests. This is neither a former-style boutique hotel nor a budget option: you pay for the setting and amenities of a top five-star establishment.
The best deal: the Golden Fish brunch, to enjoy the park without staying overnight. The best time slot: lunch, when the garden and pool are bathed in full sun.
