Antartique review: our verdict
At Antartique, you select the fish and assemble your own salad, placing you firmly in charge of the menu. The kitchen then takes the lead, surprising with well-crafted herbs, bold flavors, and a balance that gives the dish a true identity, far beyond simply grilling a fish.
Fresh ingredients, quick service, and staff who guide your choice of the day's catch make the pleasant dining room suitable for both family lunches and dinners among seafood lovers. Those who swear by meat will find little to do here, as everything revolves around the sea. The restaurant operates from 12:30 p.m. to 1 a.m., except on Fridays when it opens at 2 p.m., leaving plenty of room for a late meal in the Branes district.
The dish to order is the fish of the day, chosen by your own eyes, paired with a salad assembled to your liking. The best tip: listen to the server's advice before deciding between two fish.
