Arroz Bar Restaurant review: our verdict
Before the menu even arrives, Arroz sets the tone with seasoned olives and homemade herb butter on the table. The cuisine is proudly Spanish, featuring paellas that give the house its name, alongside a parade of tapas such as patatas bravas, shrimp croquettes, onion tortilla, or skewered prawns. For dessert, a creamy Catalan cream awaits.
The dining room, with its wooden tables, green zellige tiles, and display case of wines, fills in the evenings with an elegant clientele. Service is attentive, guided by a very present hostess. Screens allow you to follow major matches without turning the place into a sports bar. It's perfect for a dinner for two or a group of friends sharing a meal; it's not suited for lunch, as the house opens only at 6 p.m., nor on Sundays, which is a closed day.
The dish to order: a paella, the house specialty. The glass to order: sangria. Note: open Monday to Saturday, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
