Le Petit Napolitain review: our verdict
The wood-fired tiled oven stands at the back, setting the tone: at Le Petit Napolitain, the dough comes out light, well-risen at the edges, and spotted with brown just like in Naples. On top, fresh ingredients are laid out without stint, with burrata or stracciatella at the forefront, alongside lasagnes and salads served on Italian-style painted plates.
The room is small and intimate, with just a handful of tables, but the service keeps pace and remains attentive. Perfect for a dinner for two or with friends sharing several pizzas, and ideal for a late-night craving: the kitchen stays open until 3 a.m. or 4 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This isn't the spot for a large party: with so few tables, it's better to come with two or four rather than arrive with ten.
The dish to order: a stracciatella pizza, for the generosity of the toppings. The insider tip: delivery, which goes as far as the riads in the medina; count 446 DH for four pizzas, tip included (May 2026 data). The best time slot: after an evening out in town, when everything else has closed.
