Dai review: our verdict
Finesse rather than abundance: Dai treats Italian cuisine with restraint. A burrata of crisp freshness, prawns, then a beef fillet cooked to precision, and desserts like tiramisu or pavlova to finish without heaviness. The house-made mocktails, inventive, give a real place to those who don't drink alcohol.
The room, modern, intimate and hushed, on Moulay Ali Street, invites you to take your time: a dinner for two, a discreet anniversary, a business meal where you want to receive well. The service is professional and attentive, from the first drink to the bill. It's not everyday Italian nor a low-budget outing: the prices are a notch above the neighbourhood, and wine widens the gap.
The trap: the wine list, where the bill climbs fastest; the mocktails are a serious alternative. The right slot: dinner, the only service of the house, from 7 pm to midnight.
