Bendoo review: our verdict
Bendoo is written across its façade: restaurant, live music, sky. Three spaces, three ways to spend an evening in Hivernage: a restaurant room on the first floor, a stage for performances, and a greened terrace, heated in winter, overlooking the neighborhood under clusters of wicker lanterns.
The menu navigates between Morocco, Asia, and international cuisine, from royal couscous to salads and sharing plates, with attentive service under the watchful eye of a very present owner. As the evening progresses, small performances and the DJ take over, while chicha circulates on the terrace. Ideal for a night out with friends, a birthday, or a family dinner that enjoys the buzz; not for a tête-à-tête where you want to hear each other speak.
The good deal: the heated terrace, which is also enjoyed in the middle of winter. The best time slot: evening, when the stage and DJ come alive; the house is open from noon to 2 a.m.
