Boquería Fina review: our verdict
Candlelit tables, dim lighting, and a selection of wines à la carte give Boquería Fina the vibe of a Spanish tapas bar right in the heart of Agdal. On the plate, Spain meets the Mediterranean through small plates to share, salads, and heartier dishes like the linguine with seafood, finishing with an ice-cold brownie.
The venue truly comes into its own in the evening, whether you're out with a partner or friends, for a drink that lingers around a few tapas; the table service is present and efficient. At the entrance, a doorman filters guests and may ask to open bags, even in the afternoon. Non-smokers might suffer, as cigarettes are allowed inside, and foodies will wait for better: the cuisine is honest, without flashiness.
The glass to order: a wine from the house selection, best paired with three or four tapas rather than a full dish. The right time slot: evening, when the candles are lit and the room takes on its atmosphere.
