Café Crème review: our verdict
Power outlets are available at almost every seat, breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m., and the staff are happy to adapt a formula: Café Crème has all the charm of a neighborhood café where people return for three mornings in a row. The morning plate is well-stocked with freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee at a reasonable price.
The nicely decorated room attracts a clientele mostly under thirty, and the manager and his team run the house with constant good humor, speaking French without difficulty. Those allergic to tobacco will have a hard time here: smoking is very common. The menu has also been streamlined, and the tagines have disappeared; so you come for a coffee, a breakfast, or a work session, not for a Moroccan lunch.
The dish to order: the classic breakfast, which is more generous than regional formulas. The trap: the Fassi brunch, which is too oily and not as substantial as it promises.
