Our review
At mile 12 of the road to Amizmiz, within the Fairmont Royal Palm grounds, Capricci revisits Italian classics with fresh, seasonal ingredients. At the heart of the dining room, a wine cellar sets the tone: we choose the bottle to match each dish, with expert advice to guide you.
You have a choice of settings: a host table for large gatherings, the main dining room, private lounges behind moucharabiehs, or the Table du Capitaine by the fireplace. Outside, the terrace opens onto the palms and the hotel's large mirror pool. Service is attentive without being stiff, and discreet live music sometimes accompanies dinner. Come here for a tête-à-tête, a birthday, or a quiet business meal.
Keep in mind: it's far from the city centre, so plan for a car or taxi. Except for breakfast, service is limited to dinner, from 6pm to 11pm, and hours are reduced in summer, so it's best to call ahead. For a refined Italian evening outside the city, this is a sure bet.
