Da Nolita review: our verdict
The plates are made for photographing, and so is the room: Da Nolita has built its success on a chic and original setting, a little piece of Italy on Najib Mahfoud Street. The core of the menu holds up, with delicious pizzas and pasta, well-presented and prepared with fresh ingredients.
The manager and waiters watch over every table, and the room suits a night out with friends as well as a dinner for two who appreciates a touch of staging. During Ramadan, the ftour formula found its audience. Purists seeking a simple and cheap trattoria will be disappointed: you pay for the hype, and not all dishes live up to it.
The dish to order: a pizza or pasta, what the kitchen masters best. The trap: multiplying starters and finishing with the rose tiramisu; burrata, carpaccio, and dessert remain secondary to the rest. The good tip: the ftour formula during Ramadan. Open every day, from noon to 1 p.m.
