Jnane Leila review: our verdict
The garden of Jnane Leila offers surprises so close to the city: olive trees, flowerbeds, a swimming pool with a tiled island in the middle, and a tent set up on the lawn. In the evening, lanterns light up among the trees, and the terrace becomes an outdoor living room, complete with striped benches and poufs.
The atmosphere is family-friendly: Fatima, Omar, and the team ensure a pleasant stay, the rooms are clean and decorated in Moroccan style, and you can receive a massage on site. It is a restful base for a family or friends who are hopping between souks, palaces, and gardens before returning to quietude. This is not the address for a quick lunch: service relies sometimes on a single person, and wait times lengthen in the afternoon.
The dish to order: the breakfast, which is generous. The best time slot: late afternoon by the pool, before dinner. The pitfall: coming for a late lunch hoping for quick service.
