Loft review: our verdict
Loft speaks the language of the French bistro with a Mediterranean accent. The dishes taste like home cooking, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, which is what brings back, trip after trip, regulars who have made it their Marrakech canteen.
The room is calm and intimate, and the upper floor is even more so: a perfect setting for a romantic dinner, including Valentine's Day, or a quiet meal with friends. The staff are smiling and attentive, and the director, Matthieu, welcomes guests in person. This isn't a place for a lively party: on Rue de la Liberté, Loft focuses entirely on the plate and hospitality, with bills softer than the average in Guéliz.
The insider tip: book a table on the upper floor, which is more intimate than the ground-floor dining room, for a tête-à-tête dinner; the house is open from noon until midnight, every day.
