Oasis Lodges review: our verdict
A working fireplace in the lounge, a private garden with its olive tree, and enormous rooms: at Oasis Lodges, the basic unit is not the room but the lodge, comprising one to three rooms, some with their own pool. The estate spreads across a large garden outside the town, at kilometer 4 of the road to Amizmiz, with its ochre houses, palm-lined pools, and a waterfall cascading into the swimming pool.
It is a base designed for families: kids club, the Oasiria water park just next door, free shuttle to the town center, and two restaurants including La Paillote. You relax far from the bustle, with an attentive team. This is not the right choice for wandering the medina every day, nor for swimming in winter: the main pool is cold off-season, and the heated pool at the neighboring park is paid.
The good tip: ask for a lodge without rooms facing each other, as not all rooms offer the same privacy. The pitfall: breakfast at peak hours, sometimes with queues due to a lack of tables. The best time slot: the beautiful season, when Oasiria is open next door.
