Restaurant Anaïs review: our verdict
At Anaïs, the experience begins right in front of the display case: whole fish, squid, shrimp, and shellfish arranged on ice, which the staff helps you select based on the day's catch. The kitchen respects the quality of the ingredients, seasoning without excess: a generous fish soup, shrimp salad, followed by grilled sole, whiting, sea bass, or salmon, served with rice and roasted vegetables. Grilled prawns and clams in sauce complete the menu.
The dining room is modern, wood-paneled, and bright, maintained with care, offering quick and discreet service. It is the perfect spot for a family lunch, a meal with friends, or a dinner for two without any surprises. Those seeking a port atmosphere, a typical setting, or inventive cuisine should look elsewhere: Anaïs relies on consistency rather than spectacle.
The dish to order is the fish soup, followed by a sole or whiting. The best time to visit is dinner, as the house serves until one in the morning. Note that on Fridays, service starts at 1:30 PM.
