Safran by Kôya review: our verdict
Midway through the evening, the atmosphere at Safran by Kôya shifts: the music picks up, the energy rises, and dinner turns into a party. Before that, there's the meal—a carefully presented Moroccan cuisine full of flavors, including a vegetarian couscous that wasn't expected at this level.
Service is the other pillar of the house: servers who know the menu, willingly advise, and follow the table from start to finish. You can celebrate an anniversary here, bring someone for an unusual date night, or extend a night out with friends at Marina Bay, as the house opens every evening from 6 p.m. Less so for a quiet tête-à-tête when the party is in full swing: the music then takes over completely.
Dish to order: the vegetarian couscous, the surprise of the menu. Best time slot: 7 p.m. for a calm dinner, or later to experience the evening as the animation kicks in.
