Tfaya review: our verdict
The effect is immediate as soon as you enter: nothing prepares you for such a setting before crossing the threshold. Tfaya, the Arabesque brasserie at the Park Hyatt Marrakech, on the Al Maaden side, champions a refined Moroccan cuisine, from the tanjia to the chef-pastry chef's desserts, with a presentation worthy of the setting.
You dine here to mark an occasion, with family or friends, on the terrace or in the air-conditioned dining room. The team is attentive, the welcome warm, and the chef is often happy to join the dining room. You don't come here for a quickly swallowed tajine, but to linger and feast your eyes on it. The bar being high, a dish that doesn't match its description on the menu is all the more noticeable.
The right time: a dinner without haste, the dining room remaining open until 1 a.m.; in the morning, it also serves breakfast, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The good tip: have a dish described before ordering it, to avoid surprises between the menu and the plate.
