Thirty5ive review: our verdict
On order at the counter and serve yourself: Thirty5ive operates on a self-service basis, and not everyone takes to it. But the cup makes up for it. The latte, in particular, is one you'll keep coming back for; the filter coffee is crisp, and the menu stretches to include frappés and rose-flavoured hot chocolate. The decor, atypical, has a little New York air.
The room is spacious, with plenty of seating inside and out, good-taste music and wifi: you can work for an hour or settle in for the whole afternoon, from 9 am to 9 pm, Ramadan included. The servers take the time to listen. Not for those who want to be served at a table: here, everyone goes to get their own cup, and the star remains what's inside it.
The dish to order: a latte or a filter, with a pastry; there's also a gluten-free cake. The trap: the matcha, clearly below the rest of the menu.
