Zushi Lab review: our verdict
Everything arrives in a cardboard box, even when dining in, and this is fully acknowledged: Zushi Lab is the express version of Zushi, the Asian restaurant chain located opposite the train station. You order at the counter, then settle into a large double-height glass hall with rattan armchairs and a hanging staircase, or on the terrace if you aren't leaving immediately with your bag.
The menu features the house classics: California rolls, nigiris, raw or cooked salmon maki, gyozas, soups, and poke bowls. Located just across from Supdeco, it's a lunch spot for the neighborhood or a well-packed takeaway order for the evening. It's not the place for a romantic dinner: cardboard cutlery, self-service atmosphere, and orders that sometimes go missing when the dining room gets busy.
The good tip: delivery or takeaway via the Zushi app. The catch: short names, like the cheesy bun, can sometimes hide cooked salmon and surimi; ask for the ingredients. The best time to visit: lunch on the terrace.
