Akaï Sushi Marrakech review: our verdict
Akaï Sushi Marrakech focuses on fresh fish and generous portions: large platters of maki, California rolls, and salmon-tuna nigiri, salmon spring rolls, and tempura shrimp poke bowls. The menu overflows with Japanese-inspired dishes like crispy spring rolls, gyoza, chicken balls, and Cantonese rice balls, practical options when not everyone eats raw fish.
You can sit under fiber parasols, between carved wooden screens and plants, or in the dining room with light wooden tables. Service is attentive to every detail, and delivery arrives on time, well-packaged, with hot dishes still warm. Perfect for a lunch with friends, a casual dinner in Guéliz, or a sushi night at home; it's not for a chef's table tasting experience, as that's not its style.
The dish to order: a large sharing platter, with extra spring rolls. The best deal: delivery. The best time: evening, as the kitchen runs until 12:30 AM on weekdays, 1 AM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
