At the corner of Boulevard Mansour Eddahbi and Rue Mohammed El Beqal, right in the heart of Guéliz, Babqal is the dining table of the Bab Hotel, with a rooftop that is its main attraction. The cuisine plays on refined simplicity: fresh produce, well-presented plates, and prices that remain reasonable for the neighbourhood. You can come here for lunch or a late dinner, with service running from noon to midnight.
At night, the atmosphere on the roof becomes more intimate, both relaxed and elegant, with the city below. The team is smiling, quick, and generous, and the director keeps a close eye on things. A very photogenic décor corner is the delight of Instagram lovers. A great find for celebrating a birthday, catching up with friends after work, or dining for two without breaking the bank.
Note: it's in the evening that the rooftop truly comes into its own, and that's also when it fills up, so book if you're coming with a group or for a special occasion. During the day, the atmosphere is calmer, ideal for a peaceful lunch. For an evening above Guéliz, this address is a pleasure.
