Dar Al Achab review: our verdict
Here, you don't really read the menu; plates arrive one after another. Olives, small starters, soup, then grilled fish, a fish tajine and skewers, up to the melon that closes the meal. Dar Al Achab serves Moroccan seafood cuisine, without fancy sauces, featuring bar, dorade and even shark skewers.
The Hassan district venue attracts regulars, and the team takes the time to explain what comes out of the kitchen. It's a good table for simple fish and a no-frills evening, whether as a couple or with family, as long as you appreciate the product as is. Those who judge by quantity may be disappointed: for around 200 DH per person (checked in spring 2026), portions can seem just right, without salad or vegetables on the side.
The catch: arriving without cash, as credit cards were not accepted in May 2026. The good tip: ask to choose your fish before cooking, which is not always offered automatically. The house closes on Fridays.
