Pizza des Gourmets review: our verdict
Since 2005, the wooden sign on Rue al Mouahidine has kept the same promise: very large pizzas with thin, crispy dough, generously topped with cheese, ranging from pepperoni to barbecue chicken. It is a family-run business, one where you return years later to find the same dough, prepared quickly and served in a clean establishment.
The dining room plays up an urban vibe: blue velvet stools at the counter, slate walls drawn on with chalk, and black leather benches. It's perfect for sharing a pizza with friends or family, whether you eat in or take it away in the Hassan district. It's not, however, for those seeking a puffy Neapolitan crust; here you'll find a thin, neighborhood-style pizza, and phone greetings can be brisk.
The catch: the "Gourmets" label and homemade pizza, priced at 150 DH (2026 data), sometimes don't match the quality of the toppings, with classics performing better. The sweet spot is lunch, as the house opens at 11 a.m. every day.
