Our review
Rue de la Kasbah, just a stone's throw from the Saadian Tombs, La Table du Souk is located on the roof of the La Sultana hotel. From the Bahia terrace, you can see the ramparts, the minaret of the Moulay El Yazid Mosque, and, on clear days, the Atlas range. The menu plays on two themes: fresh Mediterranean cuisine and light bites of Moroccan street food. On Sundays, it's time for grilled seafood from Oualidia.
It's a quiet interlude in the middle of a day exploring the medina: discreet and precise service, a hushed atmosphere typical of a grand hotel. It's perfect for couples, friends, or treating visiting loved ones, and you'll often extend your stay with a tour of La Sultana's lounges. Non-residents are welcome.
Note: lunch only, and prices are well above the city average, budgeting more than 650 dirhams per person. Book in advance, and be aware that the entrance is just opposite the location marked by navigation apps. For a celebratory lunch in the Kasbah, it's definitely worth the trip.
