Cosmo review: our verdict
A tandem bicycle mounted on the wall, old doors painted as decoration, and sculpted faces emerging from the stone, illuminated from within: Cosmo takes care of its first impression. At the bar, the mixologist prepares his own syrups and infusions, while the kitchen, led by a young team, serves up bistro-style plates, such as recently a sea bream on risotto or a rum steak with chimichurri sauce.
People come here for a birthday, a candlelit dinner for two, or to kick off a long evening: the upper floors lead to Taros, and Cosmo has hosted Moga festival nights. This is not a spot for a quick snack or lunch: the house opens only in the evening. Nor is it a place for a noisy dinner with a large group; the atmosphere remains intimate.
The glass to order: a cocktail from the mixologist, based on his homemade syrups. The right time to come: right at opening, at 7:30 PM, from Monday to Saturday. The trap: coming on a Sunday, it's closed.
