Dada review: our verdict
The first impression at Dada comes from its decor: a well-appointed room tucked away at the end of a small alley in the medina, with traditional music playing softly in the background and attentive service. On the plate, Moroccan cuisine shines when it simmers, featuring well-spiced tagines like the anchovy one, which has a distinct flavor.
The location is lively without falling into the tourist trap, and the bill is usually reasonable. You can dine here for two or with a group from noon until midnight on Rue des Almohades. However, the food is not always consistent: the chicken skewers lack depth, and a beef tagine with second-choice cuts left a diner hungry in March 2026. Those coming for grilled dishes will be less well served than lovers of slow-cooked meals.
The dish to order is a tagine, specifically the anchovy one if it is on the à la carte menu. The pitfall to avoid is the chicken skewers, which fall short compared to the rest of the menu.
