Brasserie Magnolia review: our verdict
Morocco and the Levant share the same table at Magnolia. Chef Lahcen Hafid brings these two heritages into dialogue here: revisited Levantine recipes, shareable mezzés, and a shrimp carpaccio from the summer menu. The brasserie occupies the Mohammed VI Tower within the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé complex, featuring decor inspired by Moroccan heritage.
At the end of the day, on weekdays, the terrace hosts an afterwork with a view of the valley: first drink, selection of mezzés, and signature cocktails. You can conclude a professional meeting around mezzés, toast after the office, or dine facing the Bouregreg in the setting of a grand hotel. Not for a tight budget: you're in a palace, and both the bill and the service play in this category.
The good tip: the terrace afterwork, the simplest way to discover the house, available on online reservation. The trap: showing up on a Monday, as the brasserie is closed, or on a Sunday evening, when it only serves lunch.
